Plants of Asia
Take a walk through the Botanic Garden and discover
|some of the plants from Asia and how their history and cultivation affect our lives today.
Meet at the Founders’ Entrance, Glenmore Street.

Plant Hunters
Finding plants in the new world for the old world to enjoy.
A walk looking at man's search for new, interesting and useful plants, and the stories of the men who devoted their lives to this search, and braved the often hostile world to make this happen.
Meet on the Treehouse verandah.
Easy walk. 60-75 min.

Stroll along the downhill walk through the Botanic Garden to the city and hear about some of our special plants and stories on the way.
Meet: Cable Car entrance

Experience a world of smell, touch and sound as you move around the Garden, giving you another 'view' of nature.

Fascinating facts about how man first made notes. Hear about the emperor's toilet paper, the origin of paper money and more. This easy guided walk is followed by a paper-making demonstration.
